Spectator Information
All spectator parking is on the west side of Washington Avenue around Thornton High School and will require using the pedestrian overpass bridge to transit from the parking areas to the stadium. Refer to the Aerial map for specific spectator lots and locations.
A very limited amount of handicapped parking will be made available closer to the stadium and only to vehicles displaying handicapped stickers.
Please allow 30-60 minutes before your school’s performance time to park, walk to the stadium, purchase your ticket at admissions, enter the stadium and be seated. There is no parking adjacent to the stadium as this is used for buses and equipment trucks.
The stands will be completely emptied and cleaned after Prelims awards and before Finals begin. All spectators must exit the stadium at this time and take all their belongings. We will re-open the gates for Finals approximately 30 minutes before Finals begin. Please plan accordingly.
Spectators will not be seated during a band performance, only between band performances.
Refer to the Aerial map for locations of spectator parking, bus, equipment truck and food truck routes
ANIMAL POLICY: No animals will be allowed in the stadium except for service animals. A service animal is an animal trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability. Important Parking Information from DCMI Coordinators
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, October 8th. We have parking planned for all equipment and food vehicles in our South Parking lot. The buses will park on Scott Blvd. We have spectator parking planned for our north parking lot, but it does fill up as prelims goes on. There is public parking in local neighborhoods. Oakwood Drive Canyon Drive are two nearby streets that have public parking. We must ask that no visiting band vehicles or families park in the LDS church on Oakwood street. I have been in contact with the church and they have church services on Saturday October 8th. We would like to maintain friendly working relationships with our community.
