The Winter Guard differs from Color Guard in that they perform indoors and without the marching band. It is their competition alone. They perform choreographed routines and dances that are musical, artistic, and athletic to recorded music with various equipment/props.
They perform in competitions in the off season of the marching band. They use flags, rifles and sabers and specialized props for their performance.
They have specialized uniforms that will differ from color guard and reflect the chosen theme of the winter guard.
NO needed experience, learning or technique are required. All will be taught!
Available to 7th grade through 12th.
